Guest Speaker: Thomas Denney

In his own words.......

The Art of Being

We?ve been told by all kinds of spiritual sources that we need to look within. And we think we do. But who is the ?I? who is doing the looking?

?Who am I? is the question that has perplexed the most profound of philosophers since the early ages. A few have found the answer, the Buddha, Jesus, many ancient Gnostics, and in modern times we would include Gangaji and Eckhart Tolle.

Thousands of Buddhists seek Nirvana, but what if this were achievable in a matter of minutes? What if you could experience this, and discover that Gnostic texts actually make sense now, in a backwards kind of way? What if you could experience yourself as an eternal being?

Join us on the 22nd, and you will discover the answer to this most basic question, Who Am I?

Presenter: Thomas Denney lives in Austin and does his best to help keep it weird. He?s been involved in Spiritualism since the age of 14, and considers himself a kind of spiritual mechanic. ?I don?t like belief. I only know what I can experience. Nothing in this presentation can be mistaken for warm fuzzies. The self is what people will be able to actually experience, perhaps for the first time in this lifetime.?

    •  I really enjoyed Thomas Denny's presentation. His shortcut to Nirvana is an effective tool for understanding and approaching the state of Non-Duality.
    •  I thought Tom did a nice job with his presentation. Enjoyed the group and the subject matter. Look forward to the next time!
    •  I REALLY enjoyed it! I love this technique and will use it often. I get "there" so much faster with this technique versus meditation. Now I can have nirvana anywhere, anytime, even driving. :) Thank you Tom for sharing this with us tonight.
    •  I thought it was a wonderful experience and actually woke up this morning thinking about Nirvana and ways to achieve it. Very helpful. Thanks Trina
    •  I'd give this a good as it was a great way for me to reconnect spiritually after being in NJ for 10 months. Having said that, the level of engagement was low for experienced seekers but perhaps most useful to newbees.
    •  Great insight and thoroughly enjoyed Tom Denney presentation & technique last night!

I had to leave a little early so I missed some of it. I think that what Tom had to offer was valuable. I think that he covered a lot of material well in a short period of time. He has a very good understanding of his topic. I would like to have him speak again and I plan on using the visual meditation that he taught often. I will share it with others also. Thanks for having him come speak. In addition it would be cool if we could have real live speakers like this more often. Thanks Shannon.
    •  Good meeting, but then I always enjoy Tom. I thought some of the comments were quite thought provoking and of course some off track, but that's what makes a meeting and opens up the mind
